Pain On Hands, Arms With Finger Swollen. Took Tylenol. What Could Be The Cause?
I woke yesterday morning feeling pain on my hands and arm . I thought it was normal or perhaps I slept on them. Eventually, the pain down, but last night it got worst and very painful with hands/fingers swallon and the veins can be seen as well. What could be the cause and what remedy do I have? I just took 2 couplets of Tylenol of 500mg each. Thank you Chi
Hello and Welcome to HCM!
pain in hands could be due to a number of reasons. would you please give us your detailed profile. what is you age? Are you suffering from any disease? are you taking any regular medications? have you had any episode like this in past. at the time of pain was your hand cold? could you palpate your pulse? was your hand red or was it turning blue? was there pain in your chest or any other part of body? does the pain gets worse in any specific posture( like elevating your hands above your head etc.). have you ever had any allergies? probable causes of sudden onset pain in one hand can be of vascular, nervous or muscular origin. you should visit your physician for proper workup of any of these causes.
hoping you best of health
