Pain On Left Side. What Could Be Causing This?

Hi, I have a pain on my left side that won t go away. I ve seen a doctor and she seemed to think it was a strained muscle, but I never did anything to cause that. The pain is right below the ribs in line with my leg. I want to find out what is there that could be causing this.

Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

I went through your description. I suggest you not to worry much. Your problem is not at all confusing. There are very little possibilities. Acidity and acid reflux could be one reason. If you do not take anti acidity medicines, it should stay for two or three days. Second is, as your doctor said, sprained muscle. Third could be spasm related to diaphragm, which should have some other symptoms. In your case, your doctor could be right. It is sprained muscle. Just apply some hot water fermentation for two or three days.

Hope this answers your query. Available for further clarifications.
Good luck.
