Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
If I were treating doctor for this case of pain in shoulder joint , I would come up with these possibilities , these includes.
1 Cervical spondilitis , diagnosis can be confirmed by X RAY of cervical region with C T scan . As pain is in shoulder joint and radiating to the neck . So chance of cervical spondilitiisis more.
2 Osteoarthritis , diagnosis can be confirmed by blood examination for C B C , e s r ( if elevated very high , is an indication ).
3 Bursitis of shoulder joint , diagnosis can be confirmed by physical as well clinical examination of shoulder joint by an orthopedic doctor.X ray of shoulder is also important .
Cervical spondilitis may be the reason of this pain.
So in my opinion consult another orthopedic doctor and get his opinion ( 2nd).
Good luck. Dr. HET
