Pain Under Left Bottom Ribs, Numbness Which Is Spreading, Back Pain. X Ray Shows Pulled Muscle. Any Ideas?

Hello. I have been having pain under my left bottom ribs for 5 days now. I started out with numbness in this area that has spread. I was seen at dr yesterday. They took a chest xray and said i probably had a pulled muscle. Now my entire left side of chest and left upper back is numb/tingly. I have back pain and just started shivering a couple hours ago. What could be wrong with me?
