Pain Under Ribs. Taken Medicines For Trapped Wind, Did Yoga. No Relief. Matter Of Concern?
Good morning, I am 73 and in excellent health, but I have a pain under my ribs to the left of my solar plexus, I thought it might be trapped wind and have taken peppermint capsules, zantac and rennies, even though im burping the pain is still there I have done the yoga moves but to no avail, it feels really uncomfortable, im due to go on holiday soon and don t want to spoil it, should I be concerned and see a doctor/ thank you for your help
Hi your pain under rib cage left may due to various reasons related to various organs particularly spleen, intestines or sometimes musculoskeletal pain from ribs itself. But based on your age there should be a suspicion related to heart conditions as well depending on other risk factors like Diabetes, Hypertension and Smoking.
Take Care!
