Painful Headaches. Sleep Calms. Is It Bladder Infection?

Hi i been having a really bad headache for 5 days as of today. Its the most painful headache I ever had. It hurts when I sit up or walk but when i lay down or sleep it calms down. I went to the ER yesterday because i got worse but they told me I have Bladder infection . But why is my head still so painful. The ibuprofen they give me doesnt seem to work? Do you think you can help me cure this headache?

Hello,
Bladder infection has no relation to headache.
Only passing urine with heavy difficulty may cause rise in pressure of head and cause headache.
Ibuprofen is antiinflammatory drug given for inflammation.
If you are suspected for Urinary tract infection you need to get a urine test done and get some antibiotics for it.
Since your only complain is headache which reduces when staying calm it may be a migraine.
You need to take paracetamol and other migraine medications like ergot alkaloids which can be prescribed by a physician, caffiene also helps in reducing migraine
Take care
Bye
