Painful, Swollen Legs And Feet, Black And Blue Ankles And Feet. Normal Results In All Tests. No Help From Pain Medications. Help

hi, I was wondering if you would be able to tell me what can cause your feet and legs to swell, my legs and feet are very swollen and very painfull. I am takin pain medication and it is not helping. My feet and ankles are black and blue and I have been for all kinds of tests and nothing is showing up. I am really hope someone can help me because I can not take the pain much longer. BRENDA

The painful and swollen ankles with all the normal investigation reports could be due to an inflammation in the ankle joint or an electrolyte imbalance., Renal and cardiac status also needs a detailed evaluation.
