Passing Foul Smelling Gas After Drinking Water. Help
Hi there, I have an embarrassing problem. Every time I am on a diet, especially when I drink lots of water, I tend to fart a lot. The farts have very foul smell. Its awful. the smell kind of stays on my clothes as well, which I think is embarrassing. I thought water is meant to be good for you. but it seems that it happens every time I drink lots of water. I thought would clean my body. I tend to like drinking it because it helps me loose weight quickly. Please help, I'm really embarrassed.

Water alone cannot cause you to fart more than usual. The number one cause of excess farting is when we get to mix different foodstuffs in our system. This causes fermentation and eventual gas production which causes farting. I will like you to take closer look at the various different things you eat at once and try to limit so many varieties. This will go a long way to help you with this problem. Please, it is not water, look at the diet rather.
