Pelvic Pain After Sex, Brown Vaginal Discharge, Done Pelvic Ultrasound. What Is Happening?

This is the second time happening kind of the same scenario. I am 49 years old lady. After sexual intercourse with my only husband I have got a very intense pelvic pain . A few days later a brown vaginal discharge has started. I have seen a doctor, but I was told everything looks beautiful. I had a pelvic ultrasound done but it also showed normal. What is happening?

hi, if you are post menopausal, then any bleeding after sex is not normal. Do a pap ssmear also. Vaginal infection, or PID is a possibility. If you are still menstruating, this could be hormonal. In which case, nothing to worry about. Use plenty of lubrication or estrogen cream before sex.
