A fabroid measurin 23*13mm is seen in anterior myometrium. Ovaries: Right is normal. Left shows a cyst of size 28*25 mm. Sir please suggest what should I do? Should I go for an operation or medicines can cure it?
Dear friend, welcome to Healthcaremagic!
I am Dr. Prasad Akole (Critical Care Expert- http://bit.ly/Dr-Prasad-Akole) and am glad to address to your query here.
Your sonograpghy shows a fibroid tumour in the uterus wall. The uterus is bulky.
The left ovary shows a cyst (fluid filled cavity).
Treatment modality can be decided after a detailed evaluation of all your symptoms, a physical exam and lab results (which are not mentioned here).
A bleeding and painful fibroid may be removed, if amenable. Others may be tackled with medicines.
I would recommend you to see a gynaec expert, get these examinations and then act on his/ her advice.
I hope to have answered your query satisfactorily. I would be glad to answer any further queries. Take care and please keep me informed of your progress at http://bit.ly/Dr-Prasad-Akole
Good Luck!
