Hi Claudia,
Thanks for writing in.
The pain should become ok in some time. If it doesnt become ok, I would suggest you take Tablet prevacid OTC one tablet once a day for 5-7 days along with some antacid.
Additionally, I would suggest you avoid coffee, tea, alcohol, smoking or any spicy food. Have light meals at regular intervals.
This should resolve on its own within 3-4 days.
Hope this helps
Regards
it would be very informative if u could mention what was the food item that you consumed.
as per the history, it looks like food poisoning and I would suggest you to avoid milk, coffee, alcohol. Avoid all junk foods, non vegetarian foods and sour fruits/juice. Chewing gum wont help u in this regard.
U can take curd rice and fresh fruits and home made vegetable soups.
Kindly take 3-4 litres of boiled and cooled water every day.
If the pain persists or appears, u can take tab.Buscopan 1tablet only SOS and not more than 3 tabs per day.
