Pigmentation On Face. Have Thyroid Problem. Suggested Glycomet. Safe Medication?

hi!sir i am 28 unmarried girl having thyroid problem but the main problem is sir i have a lot of pigmentation on my face it depressed me because i have done all type of treatment but doesn't effect it goes and comes and i have told my endochrinologist he suggested me to take glycomet for pigmentation problem sir should i take this medicine.

Hello.The causes of excess pigmentation on the face are various: exposure to sunlight, hormonal problems, genetics problems. Your thyroid pathology too can cause excess pigmentation.Among the drugs that cause excess pigmentation the most common are birth control pills.
If your doctor has prescribed metformin is because your blood sugar levels
are high.Metformin benefits outweigh possible adverse effects.
Follow the recommendation of your endocrinologist.
