Pinching Pain In Chest While Doing Exercise. Have Upper GI. Underlying Cause?

Hi i am relatively active playing golf and Zumba. However there are times when I am exercising I get a pinching pain in my chest above my left breast. Kind of throbbing about the area of a quarter. No pain to touch and no other symptoms. I have had a upper gi and it was ok. Don't know if my heart or lung. What could cause this? Thanks

General & Family Physician 's  Response
DEAR PATIENT
YOU HAVE NOT MENTIONED YOUR AGE.
SINCE ON EXERCISING YOUR GETTING PAIN ON THE LEFT SIDE, I SUGGEST YOU TO GET AN ECG DONE.
IF ECG IS NORMAL, I SUGGEST YOU TO DO AN ANGIOGRAPHY WHICH MEANS INJECTING A DYE IN YOUR CORONARY VESSELS TO SEE IF YOUR VESSELS ARE BLOCKED.
I SUGGEST YOU CONSULT A CARDIOLOGIST.
PLEASE DO NOT EXERCISE TILL YOU HAVE DONE ALL TESTS TO RULE OUT HEART DISEASE CAUSE IT COULD BE DANGEROUS.
IF EVERYTHING COMES NORMAL YOU CAN START YOUR EXERCISES AND HAVE A HEALTHY DIET WITH LESS OF FATTY FOODS AND MORE OF VEGETABLES.
PLEASE GET YOUR LIPID PROFILE DONE WHICH WILL RULE OUT ANY INCREASE IN YOUR TRIGLYCERIDES AND CHOLESTEROL.
HOPE I COULD HELP YOU OUT TO YOUR SATISFACTION
