Pityriasis Rosea Or Something Else

I am a 28 year old male. I was diagnosed with pityriasis rosea last year. I ve had the rash for over three years now. It s not supposed to last this long. What else could it be? I never noticed a herald patch. It started out with mild patching that has progressively become worse. It is mainly on my arms, concentrated at the elbows. Isolated patches have appeared on my chest , and possibly my back. Does this sound like pityriasis rosea? Maybe chronic pityriasis lichenoides?
