Planning For Pregnancy. Taking Sysfol. What Are The Side Effects Of Medicine?

I am 26 yrs and 2 yrs of marrige I have been planning for pregnancy since past 8 months I am taking Sysfol for the past 3 months as per Gyn advice Please let me know the positives and side effects of it

Hello.

Thanks for writing to us.
Sysfol is a folic acid supplement and is given when you are planning for a preganacy till first 14 weeks of pregnancy. It decreases the inciedence of neural tube defects in a baby. It does not increase your chances of conception in any way. The side effects are minimal.
