Playing With Labia Minora, Red And Swollen After Sex, Normal ?

age 19, height 5 10 female. tonight i was just casually playing with the right side of my labia minora (like stretching it out and squeezing it and twisting it) and shortly after had sex without a condom with my boyfriend. Now the right labia minora is red and swollen. Is this normal?

Hello and welcome,

The swelling may have occurred due to excessive handling or trauma from sex. Just bath it with warm water containing few drops of antiseptic and pat dry.
avoid handling it and sex till it gets healed.

If there is severe pain or discharge you may need to see a doctor.

Use of neosporin powder twice locally by light dusting and acetaminophen tablets [ tylenol] once a day with milk will help to reduce mild pain and promote early healing.
Hope this satisfies your query.

Take care.
