Pneumonia, Antibiotics, No Fever, Slight Dry Cough. Can She Go To School?

hallo please tel me , my doughter has bem sick with beginning of pnomonia , the docter gave her a course of antibiotics , onsaturday night and since yesterday she has no morte fever , but still has a slight dry cough , please tell me sice there is no fever can she go back to sckool as from this afternoon and is it safe? im a little concernd and would like to know if its safe, thank you helen de sousa

better to wait for another two or 3 days.generally in pneumonia 7 to 10 day course of drugs are prescribed
complete the drug course
give her adequate nutrition in her diet so that she will not feel weak
you can give her soup,juice,coconut water

Hello Helen,

The simple way to guarantee this is, if your daughter has finished a 3 days course of antibiotic then she can go to school.

It is a sign of improvement that she has no fever anymore. I am happy about it. It is safe for her to go to school now, if it is only dry cough that is persisting.
