Pneumonia, Scar Tissue, Fever, Had Food Stuck In Esophagus. Done X Ray. What Is Wrong?

Hello,
I have a question about pnuemonia. I had a piece of food stuck in my esophagus, they scoped and pushed food through. I had alot of scare tissure, so a couple of days later they stretched my esophagus. That evening I had a fever of 100.3. I called the doctors, they told me I needed to drink more. Long story short, about a week later they did an Xray and said I had pnuemonia. How long does it take to recover from pnuemonia? It's been 2 weeks, everyday I feel alittle better and better, but I still have a fever and I'm very tired?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
It seems that you might be having aspiration pneumonia.
Pneumonia takes about 2-3 weeks to resolve.
Continue the higher antibiotic treatment as advised by your pulmonologist.
Take light diet and take rest.
Ok and take care.
