Pregnant. Have Swollen Feet And Sunburn. Could This Be A Problem With Pregnancy Or Just Sunburn?
Hi, I'm 17 weeks pregnant and recently went on vacation to a warmer climate and did a lot of walking. I got sunburned very badly on my legs. Prior to my sunburn, I noticed that my feet were swelling, especially the left foot. Since the sunburn, I am experiencing intense pain when initially standing that almost brings me to tears. Could this be a problem with my pregnancy or just from the sunburn?
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The swelling on the legs could be due to the sunburns or may be related to pregnancy. you need to monitor your blood pressure levels and decrease your salt intake. Keep your feet on two pillows while resting.

Dear, The swelling and pain is due to your pregnancy and not sun burn. Its normal for a pregnant woman to get swollen feet and pain which subsides once baby is delivered. So nothing to worry apply some sun screen lotion/any cool soothing lotion to relieve the pain. While sleeping you sleep on your right side to avoid swelling and dont keep ur feets hanging while sitting.Use pillow under the feet while sleeping to decrease the swelling.TAKE CARE.
