Pregnant. Injured Stomach. Severe Depression. Had Missed Abortion. What Caused It?
Dear doctor,
Good morning,I was 6 weeks pregnant,during that time my husband became too violent as he did not want a child,he mentally tortured me so much so that he kicked my stomach and beat me.Apart from that his mother enhanced the situation by mentally torturing me further.the result was missed abortion.Though the gynae said stress and mental torture doesn't affect pregnancy but i went severe torture physically and mentally.he deliberately totrtured me and gave me a trap that if i undergo abortion he would take me to goa where i wanted to go since five years but i didn't melt as i had promised god not to abort.my question is that doctor can torture,harrasment abet or rather beget abortion.i am in secere depression as he says that he will leave me IMAGINE i had a love marriage.what do i do.plz help

definetly trauma specially direct hit on stomach can lead to abortion. i would advise you not to get depressed as its not your fault. you have to find a middle way in coping with situation and making your husband understand your situation and your point of view. remeber ther is no end to depression so instead of crying your time out or feeling low try to get over it as early as possible to make your future life happy thanks
