Pregnant. Severe Itching, Pins And Needles On Thighs. Advice
hi, im 23 weeks pregnant , i have severe itchyness to the point my skin is covered in scabs because ive scratched it open , i keep getting a funny pain inbetween my my hip & ribcage on the left it kinda feels like pins & needles, bruises appearing on my thighs but i dont know where theyve come from ! ive never had any of this with my others

The itching that you are feeling is due to the cholestasis associated with pregnancy. You can take a mild antiallergic after consulting with your gynecologist to control this symptom. Taking vitamin B complex supplements will also help.
