Pregnant. Traces Of Blood In Urine. What Is Wrong?

hi doc, i am a 36yrs old, 22weeks pregnant with our 1st child. About 7weeks ago my gynocologist noticed traces of blood in my urine over a period of 5 days.
Referred me to a urologist
Went over, he asked if i have any back pains. I answered no.
He felt my tummy, back and told me i have no cause to panick as i have not got Kidney stones
Over the the subsequent weeks, my gyno always did a urine test and always found traces of blood in my urine which he finds puzzling. I consulted him again earlier on today. This time there is not only traces of blood in my urine after a urine test but traces of iron and white blood cells
I am really worried and hope our baby is fine and not in danger
Please doctor, what could be wrong with me!? Bladder infection, Kidney stones or some sort of cancer?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The traces of blood in the urine could be related to a urinary infection or a small calculus in the renal tract. Exact diagnosis can be made after an ultrasound scan and MRI scan.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
