Pregnant. Ultrasound Shows Anteverted, Gravid, Fetal Pole Not Seen. Help
Hello Doctor,
my wife's got pregnant & her ultrasound report is as under
Uterus is anteverted & gravid, Gestational sac well seen, Yolk sac seen, Fetal pole not seen, Trophoblastic reaction seen, MSD 6 mm Cervix is normal in length. Internal os is closed.
Early intrauterine pregnency of 5wk +- 5 days
please help me & tell us that any problem with this report

Gestational sac is a bag like structure around the embryo. Its presence shows a proper implantation of the embryo within the uterus. So an ectopic pregnancy is ruled out. It will take time for the fetus to form-hence fetal pole not seen. Internal os closed- this rules out any chances of abortion. All the other parameters are absolutely normal.
So stop worrying and enjoy the fatherhood.
