Pregnant, Constant Pain In Shoulder Blade, Hurts On Breathing. What To Do?

Hi, I am 4 weeks pregnant & only yesterday I started getting pain in my right shoulder blade, feels like a pulled muscle though haven't done anything to pull it. The pain is constant & hurts to breathe a bit but mainly to turn & it's spread across my left shoulder blade & going up my neck. Never experienced this with my first pregnancy & I'm worried.

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

.

This may be musculoskeletal pain. For pain you can take Paracetamol tablet but since you are 4 weeks of pregnancy try to avoid medications as far as possible. Do regular breathing exercises and drink plenty of fluids and fruits along with folic acid supplementation. Get done ECG and examined by your doctor to rule out any other problem. Hope I answered your question. Consult your doctor for further examination and management.
Feel free to ask me if you have any further queries.
Wish you good health. Take care.

Regards
