Hello,

Herpes Zoster is quite unlike to cause associated fetal malformation. However, it should be properly treated and transmission of varicella zoster (most prevalent after herpes zoster infection) should be prevented through periodic screening.

Do periodic check up to your doctor with relevant investigation and take suggested medication. Treatment is required for 7-10 days but it may take time up to 3-4 weeks for complete resolution.
