Pregnant, Miscarriage As Fetus Stopped Growing. CT Scan, Mammogram Scheduled. Precautions For Next Pregnancy?

Im 40 and I just had miscarriage my first pregnancy at 10week. Dr. Said my baby stop growing at 8weeks. I m still bleeding n will see the Dr. In few days.... Just want to know what s next step? What to take, what kind of shots I need to prepare better for my next baby, etc.... Also, How long shoud I wait after ct scan n mammogram before get pregnant n hepatitis b

Hello, I would be happy to help.

I am so sorry about your loss. So from what you are saying, it sounds like you miscarried the pregnancy on your own (i.e. you did not require a D&C).

Given that you are still bleeding, regardless of how this resolved, you need an ultrasound to make sure you have passed all of the pregnancy.

The next step is to sit down with your doctor and discuss these events, review any risks besides age that you have for recurrent miscarriage.

Mammogram should be done a full 6 months after pregnancy resolved, and CT scan depends upon the indication.
