Pregnant Of 30 Weeks. Have Chronic Illensses. Effects Of Abortion At This Stage?

Hello,

I am between 28w and 30w pregnant...this is my second pregnancy (lost the first due to medical complications). Now, I am in the same boat sort of. I was wondering if an abortion can be done at this stage considering how it's causing major health problems with my already chronic illness everyday? And my second question is after the procedure how long does it take for the tummy to be small again?

Thanks,
Cie

Hi,
Thank you for choosing Healthcaremagic. First of all its better to consider if the pregnancy can be continued or not. As your question is not clear why you have been advised termination of pregnancy. If the pregnancy is causing serious illness, its better to terminate. But the survival of foetus increases if you receive steriods for fetal lung maturity.
Please ask if you have more questions. If you are satisfied, please make sure that your ACCEPT my answer so that I receive credit. Good luck!!
