Pregnant, Severe Stomach Gas, Healthy Vegetarian Diet. Causes And Treatment?

Hi I am 7 weeks pregnant and have terrible gas. I am so healthy vegan and a lot of raw fruits and veggies. I cannot figure out what I am eating to make me have so much gas?? I thought it was soy milk but today with none again terrible gas in evening:(. I did eat egg white invents huh I normally don t do but?? Is this normal so early?

Hi,.....your problem is not new for a pregnant female.you are absolutely healthy and doing very well with your pregnancy.As for the gas formation you can add an antacid in your routine.
Hope your not taking any aerated drink as this does adds to the problem you mentioned. You have not mentioned whether you working or a housewife.Well in either cases,avoid sitting for long and be physically active.This will help you in digestion of your food better as metabolism of the food increases.Avoid heavy meals in the night,specially grams(rajama,chana dal,white/black chana). Have fluid in good amount.By the way....white egg should not be the reason for your trouble yet some people are allergic to it and present it differently.so may be,your excessive gas could be a sort of allergic reaction to the egg....so you can very well avoid it and replace it with cottage cheese.Well,L,no worry,things are ok so just be happy,enjoy your pregnancy.All the best to you and may you be blessed with a healthy baby.Take care.
