Pregnant With Bleeding. Scan And Blood Test Confirmed Pregnancy. Should Be Worried?
my wife is pregnant and in her six week, we had a internal scan which showed us the signs of pregnancy and also the blood test confirmed but since yesterday she is bleeding , having pain in back and also the blood was some what as small blood clot which makes us confusing we also inquired the Dr they said it happens but ?? but the bleeding which accrued was like her periods so pls help
Bleeding through vagina during six weeks of pregnancy is a sign of threatened abortion(miscarriage) which means there is an impending abortion that can happen in near future but not necessarily ending in Abortion every time. It depends on the size of the bleed from the placenta which connects the embryo to endometrium of uterus(womb). It also depends upon whether the bleeding in placenta has stopped or continuing. Its better to get an ultrasonography done and see the status of placenta and embryo.
Meanwhile take complete rest and avoid sexual intercourse till this episode is solved. My wishes for your quick recovery...
