Pregnant With Identical Twin Boys, Diagnosed Of Gap In Cerebellum, Agensis Of Corpus Callosum. Meaning ?

My wife is 26 weeks pregant with identical twin boys. We got some very sad news yesterday. They have a gap in their Cerebellum (Dandy-Walkers), they have Agensis of the Corpus Callosum (ACC), and their Cavum Septum Pellucidum is absent. What does all this mean? The doctor just told us they were all brain malformations and to prepare for the worse case scenario. Can anyone shed some light on this issue? What caused this and will my boys be alright?
