Prescribe Right Dosage Of Estrogen After Complete Hysterectomy Followed By Endometriosis Pain
Wife is post operation a couple of months for last ovary and now has had a complete hysterectomy. She was on .6mg estrogen daily but was doubled up to 1.2mg for menopaus symptoms. Endometreosis pains returned quickly after that, now she s back to .6mg but has pains a couple of hours later. How should should dose to get back to no pain (and even if it s with menopause symptoms)? She needs to be functional again as I m leaving in 2 days for 2 weeks work and we have 2 school age children. Help, the husband Jeff.
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. Probably she is taking estrogen in the in the form of tablet, that is why she is facing the problems. There will be depot implants, which will release the hormone slowly as it is required. She may not be exposed to the hormone all of a sudden, and no sudden withdrawal. Let her take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods to have blood, general health and resistance against infections. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
