Prescribed Gabapentin For Nerve Pain, Have Shingles. Does It Have Sulfa In It?Does It Upset Stomach?

I was just prescribed Gabapentin for nerve pain because I have shingles . I want to make sure it doesn t have sulfa in it. I saw a new doctor today, and just wanted to make sure. Also does it upset your stomach? I have a horrible time taking meds that can upset your stomach. I m not paying $15 just to have that 1 question answered. i will check elsewhere!

Welcome to the HCM,
Gabapentin do not contain any sulpha drug.
Usually gaba do not upset stomach
For stomach upset some drug to be added like probiotics.
