Prescribed Krimson For Irregular Periods. Ultrasound Shows Ovarian Cyst. Done Blood Test. Have Weight Gain. Worried

I am 28 female, I got irregular periods. I didnt get periods for past 3 months. I had ultrasound and blood test for hb,ft3,ft4,tsh,prolactin,fbs. Ultrasound has following result : AV uterus, ET - 4.2mm, both ovaries normal smiple cyst measuring 22.1x23.9 mm in left ovary. Blood result : HB-10.9,FBS-85mg/dl,FT3-2.24pg/ml,FT4-1.21ng/dlTSH-2.66uIU/ml thyroid test were done by ECLI method,Prolactin-16.55ng/ml. My doctor has suggested to take Krimson tablet. I have noticed that i have put on 2kgs in past 2 months. In May i was 57 when i checked my weight on july 31st it was 59. So far I have not taken any tablets for periods. This is the first time i am going to take tablets. I am little bit worried about this.

Hello,

Krimson is combined OCP and usually given in PCOS or ovarian cyst. Your cyst size is small at this stage. So, you need to continue this medication at least 3-6 cycles.

In addition, you need to take low carbohydrate diet with avoidance of fatty foods, regular moderate exercise for wt reduction (great role in regularization of period), keep bowel habit regular, drink more water and avoid mental stress.
