Prescribed Norethisterone, To Delay Periods. Will This Cause Any Harm If Taken Earlier?

Hi, I have been prescribed Norethisterone to delay my period while I am on holiday. It was a last minute booked holiday though so I have not been keeping track off my periods to plan for it, so I m not sure of the exact date that I will come on. I am wondering that if I end up taking it to early, will this cause any harm or stop it from working? Thanks

Hi, Welcome to HCM, I am Dr. Das
No, it does not cause any harm or stop it from working but, you will have your bleeding just 7 days after stopping of the drug.
