Prescribed Polaramine To Help Sleeping But Having Stomach Aches And Diarrhea
I have been prescribed Polaramine to help for sleeping but think i'am having an allergic reaction as I suddenly without warning get a stomach ache and a bad dose of diarrhoea . I also seem to get the same reaction if ever taking anti inflammatory pills for my back. Liz
Poloramine is rather not the reason of your symptoms. This medicine is actually antiallergic agent so should not cause such reaction. Antiinflammatory pills can cause such reaction. However you should also consider other, more serious reasons of your symptoms like partial bowels obstruction or infection of the gastrointestinal tract.
I suggest you to visit your doctor, have abdominal ultrasound, abdominal X-ray, blood work and stool tests at first. Colonoscopy should be next.
Hope this will help. Regards.
