Will it be safe for my baby? Will it be safe for me??I read somewhere that I can make you excessively fat. Please suggest me what should I do.My doctor did not even check my progesterone level and advised me duphaston. Please guide me with what should I do. Thanks in Advance.

Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hello,

Duphastone is not a steroid but is progresterone. It does not have side effects during pregnancy, so you need to take it.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mirjeta Guni, Endocrinologist
