Prescribed Methotrexate For Rheumatoid Arthritis. What Is Correct Dosage?

I was prescribed 10 methotrexate per week a couple years ago for my rheumatoid arthritis. I ran out of money and medication and stopped taking it for a couple months. I m now in severe pain and need to start taking it again. Should I start out with 10 per week or less and for how long?
