Prescribed Omeprazole To Help With Acid Reflux. Will There Be Any Effect Of Taking Marvalon Along With It?

Hello. I was wondering if you could help me. I'm on the marvalon pill, and I've been prescribed omeprazole to help with my acid reflux. I was wondering if this medication is going to interfere with this pill as a few months ago I had a kidney infection and was put on all different medication and antibiotics and it really messed my pill up.

I understand your confusion.
I went through many medical books to find any association between omeprazole and contents of Marvelon pill. I have not found any interaction between the two pills. Thus, the effectiveness of marvelon pill should not be hampered by the simultaneous use of omeprazole.

Though, some antibiotics should be taken cautiously and with physician advice as they may hamper the effectiveness of Marvelon.
