Prescribed With Creator After Irregular EKG Report. High Cholesterol. Concerned About The Side Effects Of Amilzide
Hi I am 62 year old female, recently had an ekg with some irregular signs. So I have been put on Crestor 10 mg as my cholesterol was high and I have been taking APO-Amilzide 50/5mg. I have just checked side effects of the Amilzide to find that I should not take if I am allergic to Sulphamethaz..sorry not sure spelling, but I am allergic to sulpha drugs in general. My concern is I feel achy all over, headaches, nauseas, and fatigued. Help???

Hello.APO-Amilzide 50/5mg is a combination of two diuretics drugs used to control their blood pressure and prevent fluid retention in your body.Sulfamethazine is an antibiotic.Is no problem taking APO-Amilzide 50/5mg even if you are allergic to sulfamethazine.But consult your doctor for your headache and fatigue.I wish you good health
