Problem In Swallowing Food, Nausea Followed By Coughing Up White Foamy Mucus. History Of Esophagectomy. What Could This Be?

I had esophagectomy a couple of months ago, I sometimes have problems swallowing my food, feeling like it gets stuck, then I get the nausea and cough up white foam. Nothing I can do about it, I have to wait it out. Normally a dilation helps with this which I am due, I just want to what the white foam mucousy stuff is?

Hey you said this first question was free, are you telling me you want me to pay for the answer? Wow that is cold.

Greetings of the day

When the oesophagus is removed, it's usually replaced with stomach-known as gastric pull up. Or the Colon to maintain continuity of the bowel.
The white mucous is likely to be the secretions of it.
It will settle down in couple of months til
the replaced part exactly behaves like oesophagus.

Take care
