Pulsating Feeling In The Stomach. Ultrasound Normal. What Is It?
i have this thing pumping inside my stomach ,and when i press it, it is hard , i went to china's hospital for ultrasound no tumor found,i just couldn't ask what it is because we dont understand each other,, i start feeling this 4 yrs ago the more years pass by the more it pumps harder and the hard thing i felt everytime i touch it , its bigger now than before,,anyone can tell what is it please?
This hard thing inside your abdomen which pulsates is most likely the aorta. If you are thin person, it can be palpated through the skin and usually does not indicate any disease. However, if you are not a thin person, or this has appeared some time before (havent been there since you remember) it can be an aneurysm of aorta. Aneurysm is some kind of widening of the aorta. This widening when large enough can cause aorta rupture.
That is why, I suggest you to visit your doctor and have it diagnosed. To do that, abdominal CT with contrast (angio-CT) should be done.
Hope this will help.
Regards.
