Pulsation In Neck, Noticeable While Lying Down, High BP But Controlled, Causes ?

I have had a pulsating in my neck between my collar bone and neck on the right side for about a week now. If I m up moving around its not so noticeable but when I sit or lie down it is constantly there. I have high blood pressure but it is controlled. What could be causing this? It s really beginning to stress me out.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi
As per my knowledge plz consult cardiologist and vascular surgeon for it. Because some pathology in heart especially right side may increase jugular venous pressure causing pulsation in neck. There may be other pathology too, better you consult doctor rather than getting panic.
Get well soon.
Thank you.
