Put On Weight 4-5 Lbs On Belly. Do Cardio, On Bikes. Have High Cholestrol. On Lipitor. Suggestions On Weight Gain

I am a 50 year old female. The last two months I have put on 4-5 lbs on my belly. I do cardio 6 times a week (45 min.) on a recumbant bike plus started some pilates moves. I have high cholesterol and am on lipitor which has it under control. I have been on nexium for several years for indigestion and I am on wellbutrin for moods. I am a secretary so I sit 8 hours a day.

Your problem is one of the common problems of middle age, weight gain and specially the fat gets deposited in belly and causes central obesity.
I am glad that you are going for aerobic exercise 6 days a week, please continue it Please also take care of diet , it is good that your cholesterol is also under control please get periodic medical checkups.
If your digestion problem is not severe then you should consider stopping PPI that is nexium as prolonged use is not required , your physician may change it to Ranitidine or similar drugs and if hyperacidity is occasional then even antacids may be used. You can continue medicine for your mood as per your prescription.
Your sedentary job also contributes to weight gain. Please have small breaks and during continuous sitting have walking like going to drink water or coffee.
If you take care of yourself it is possible to lose those extra lbs.
