Reason For Bloating And Pain Under Ribs Without Nausea?
Hi last night a few hours after eating I got a crampy windy feeling in my upper stomach just near solar plexus, It felt like trapped wind but it was painful after 10 mins of so it eased off then on and off all night was niggly.. Today has been fine just feels little tender but then again tonight hour after eating its here again, bowels seem ok, no nausea just this bloated feeling with ache under ribs. ? I do suffer from IBS and have done for years.. this is an entirely different feeling and in a different place a lot higher up. ?
You may be suffering from gastrtis or peptic ulcer disease or food intolerance. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Use tablet Pantoprazole before breakfast for one week.
Avoid spicy food and alcohol avoid smoking and caffeine drinks. If symptoms not improved get it done upper GI endoscopy and Consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
