Reason For Discharge Often?

I have a discharge that has a lite color, went to my and he said he can find no reason for it. He gave me pills I took twice as that is all he gave them to me for. I have douche and it did not clear it up. I am now using a product for a yeast infection I have used it for 3 days of the 7. The problem has not been as heavy as it was in the beginning it also had slime associated with it. That is no longer true. I am very concerned with this problem. My husband and I have not had sex for about 2 yrs. I am 74 yrs old and this problem started about 8 months ago.
