Reason For Discomfort In Urination?

Re: Female, 57 years old, approx. 50kgs, non-smoker, moderate (wine) drinker. Healthy.
Symptoms:
My wife urinates frequently as many women tend to do. This has not changed in the last 10+ years that I am aware of.
Yet relatively recently, I've noticed she has difficultly urinating in the morning (slow, dribbling, etc.) even though she has said she was 'busting'.
I've suggested she have this checked.
Are there any likely 'natural' causes, or possible 'serious' issues?
Thanks. Brad

Hi,
From history it seems that at this age due to lax perineum muscles might cause this problem.
Another possibility is that she might be having uterine or bladder prolapse, this can also give rise to this problem.
Consult Gynaec and get examined.
Ultra sound will give important clue about her problem.
Ok and take care.
