Reason For Strong Smell In Urine Of A Child?

My daughter who is 11 has extremely strong smelling urine, and has had this issue for a number of years. I have been to so many doctors and yes she has had antibiotics for urine infections, but the problem keeps coming back. Getting water into her difficult. Must it be water to re-hydrate her, or could we keep persisting with water but also give her something else as well ??

Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic.

I understand your concern, but when there is no abnormal color in the urine and she is developmentally normal without any seizures, I don't there is need for you t worry. Sometimes strong smell in the urine can be caused by concentrated urine. The best relief for this is to consume at least 2 liters of water per day.

Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time. Further clarifications and consultations on Health care magic are welcome. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish your kid good health.
