Reasons For Worsening Pain At Thyroid Area With Spontaneous Arthritis In Hands
Have bad pain at thyroid area. My endo told me I was in line for hypo. Feel like I'm being choked and it is getting worse. Swallowing isn't good. Also, it's like i have spontaneous arthritis in my hands with swelling and a lot of pain that wakes me up. knees are killing me. This has hit me rather suddenly. I had a virus last fall and it attacked my joints. I have fingerless gloves on for comfort. Taking tylenol alternating with ibuprofen. I had routine bloodwork today in preparation of my endo visit on Tuesday. I also have mild congenital adrenal hyperplasia. Want to know what I can do to feel better until I see him. I know he's going to want to scan my thyroid because I feel inflammation. Gaining a lot of weight even though I've a dairy/soy/yeast/gluten/potato/sugar free diet for years. In pain and frustrated.
Continue tylenol and start vit B12 and vit D supplement. Injectable vit B 12 are superior for achieving normal sr B12 level Vit B12 helps in nerve conduction so normal level will improve symptoms.
For vit D you can take cap Gen D3 60 k once in a week for 3 months.
You may need blood investigation to know about pattern of arthritis.
