Recently I Had Sudden Onset Of Pain On My Left

Recently I had sudden onset of pain on my left upper abdomen that radiated around my side and into my back. It was deep pain, and severe. Two visits to the ER and many tests (including CTScans) resulted in no definite diagnosis. A week after these events, shingles appeared in the same areas. The shingles are pretty much gone, but the pain is not gone. It is not as constant as the initial pain, but I have it every day. I also now have pain over my liver area. My question is, could this lingering pain be caused by the shingles?
