Recommend Medication For Child With DS And Autism With Severe Vomiting, Red Throat, Slight Fever

Hi, my daughter is 6 with DS and Autism. A week ago, she had gastro and vomited for almost 6 hours. She vomited quite a lot and dry heaved. Her throat is really red, and she isn t eating well, or drinking well. She only has had a slight fever every now and then. We took her to emerg, but there were to many people there to sit and wait. They took her temp tonight and she wasn t fevered tonight. You can tell she is really complaining of her throat though. She has no other symptoms.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
It appears to be the pharyngitis infection, with fever, and vomiting.
I advise you to consult a pediatritian for diagnosis and treatment.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms domperidone, erythromycin, phenylpropolamine, citrizine, and paracetampl.
Give her more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and
protein rich foods to hasten the recovery.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
